Sara lives in her private prison oppressed by her own father, a fascist retired military that annuls her as a person. The arrival at the flat of Josep, a Jewish tenant University Professor, will make her regain hope and self-esteem until her father violently thwarts their relationship.
In this film the Jewish visitor represents the arrival of culture and the joy of living to a house where the darkness of fascism still reigns. And despite the tragic outcome at the end, fascism cannot defeat the illusion and the desire to live.
