Argentinean-origin Daniela Fejerman (1964) shares her own personal experience on an adoption process in a film which was nominated for 4 Gaudí Awards by the Catalan Film Academy. A Catalan couple travels to a country in Eastern Europe to adopt a child, but the operation does not go as planned.

Soon they find themselves in a hostile environment where corruption is rife and traffics in the future of children and parents hope. What began as a couple’s dream uncovered deep frustrations not easy to tackle with.
